The hotel is a quick stroll to the Grand Place and a few steps from the beautiful Vrijbroekpark, making it perfect for leisurely weekend explorations of the city's charm.

Very central location but very quiet. Very friendly staff.
It should be pointed out beforehand that the garage is only 1.69 m high and that breakfast costs 17.50€ per person and day.

Very friendly staff, good bed, adequate breakfast. The location is excellent.
Parking garage only for flat cars, because only 1.65m heigh are allowed, so no SUV !!! No toilet brush (this is already the second hotel in Mechelen where no toilet brush was available! Funny) Room not big, but enough.

Free WiFi worked well, a must when you're trying to stay connected on the fly. The bathroom was nice enough, but there's definitely room for improvement in the guest experience.
The breakfast situation was a letdown. Choices were barebones and not replenished on time, leaving you high and dry. If you're traveling with luggage, you might find yourself stuck waiting a while. Some rooms are showing their age-one had a broken fridge, and another had a coat hanger half hanging off the wall. The parking fees were on the pricey side, especially when there are free options nearby that would suit bikes just as well. Cleanliness was a concern too. One guest even found a towel with a hole in it, a huge red flag for housekeeping.

This is the only Hotel that offers free wifi at Mechelen, Showers are strong. Service with a smile, and excellent as they did everything I've asked. Booking cab, giving me toothpaste when I ran out. Free Umbrellas when it poured.
Dim lighting in hallways and rooms, Rugs in the room and hallway are dark and old. Unlike the photos posted in bookings.com
